Planning Committee is responsible for, as the name suggests, coming up with ideas and planning band events.  In addition to planning the events, we help with the set up and clean up at these events. We are also responsible for purchasing necessary supplies/materials, such as gatorade and rice kirspies before Champs, decorations for the band banquet, and more. All purchases made for Band Council as a part of Planning Committee will be reimbursed.

Planning Committee meetings occur the most frequently overall, but are concentrated mostly around first semester.

This committee is vital to the proper function of Band Council. Because of the equal importance of each member in planning committee, there is no dedicated lead. The Band Council president typically helps lead Planning Committee.
