Planning committee is in charge of brainstorming ideas, purchasing items needed for events, set-ups and clean-ups, and everything planning wise.
Planning committee is in charge of brainstorming ideas, purchasing items needed for events, set-ups and clean-ups, and everything planning wise.
The planning Committee serves as the board for Band Council. We help plan and run events as well as coordinate fundraisers and more. The planning committee is also responsible for providing materials for events (gatorade, rice kripsies, etc) with reimbursement. Those in the planning committee are also eligible for running as Band Council Vice President the following year. An interview will precede the application.

The planning committee meetings occur the most frequently overall, but are concentrated mostly around first semester.

You are vital to the proper function of this organization. Because of the equal importance of each member in planning committee, there is no selected lead – rather, the Band Council President plays this role.
