Srijon

I was part of Project Srijon as a facilitator, which is run jointly by BRAC University and BRAC Education Program. The main goal of the project is to promote gender equality, skill development, and raise social awareness among students from nearby underprivileged communities. The program covers content like ICT skills, personal health, sexuality education, and critical social issues like child rights and gender equality. Most of these are not taught in the traditional school environment and are considered social taboos. The students get a hands-on learning environment and participate in debates, project showcases, indoor activities, field games, and role-play in the process. Read my experience.
