Established officially in 2026 in Sumedang, West Java, Indonesia, Alun Rima Studio was built from a radical Do-It-Yourself (DIY) philosophy by creator and self-taught software engineer Afrizal Kurniawan. The studio was born as a direct response to the modern digital landscape, where independent art, local literature, and user privacy are heavily compromised by corporate streaming monopolies and aggressive data tracking algorithms.

Named after the synthesis of rhythmic waves (Alun) and poetic structure (Rima), our foundation stands on a dual identity: honoring traditional West Javanese cultural roots while pioneering cutting edge, autonomous digital solutions. We believe that local wisdom such as the organic, meditative frequencies of the Kacapi and Suling deserves to be preserved through modern, hyper optimized software engineering.
