Florence and The Machine returned stronger than ever before, with her latest horror movie inspired tour, featuring support from Paris Paloma.

Florence Welch’s sixth album, released last year on Halloween, is also her most personal yet, covering her experience with miscarriage. She told The Guardian “The closest experience I had to making life was also the closest I came to death”. The true Celtic and Gothic horror of ‘Everybody Scream’ properly channels the grief and rage of tragedy. When Florence walks onto stage, in a different dramatic entrance every night, the bombastic title track will send goosebumps through you. All her songs, from the classics that everybody knows (Dog Days, Shake It Out) to the hidden gems that fans appreciate (Buckle, Big God), the tour is a hit factory. Every one of these songs is epic enough to be performed at The Royal Albert Hall, as many tracks from “Ceremonials” and “Lungs” have, or scaled back completely. At once intimate and epic, the set, blessed with a brand new range of instruments, refuses to relent, culminating in the ultimate euphoria of “Free”, from her latest album “Dance Fever”, that even got the grumpy 6music Dads dancing (who knows- maybe soon they will be the AltZone dads). With more UK dates to come later this year, the Everybody Scream tour is a demonstration of a once in a lifetime presence, gracing the crowd and shaking hands like Jesus Christ in a beautiful dress.
FUN FACT! The tour includes guitar work from IDLES member Mark Bowen.
