The therian symbol. A combination of the Greek characters theta (Θ) and delta (Δ). On August 17, 1999, a user of Alt Horror Werewolves (see A BRIEF HISTORY)  announced a symbol contest seeking a community symbol for werewolves. In November of that year, Kamatu announced voting for an international symbol, but all links led to a dead website. In 2003, on an early version of The Werelist forums, the current theta delta was created.
