ALPHA DELTA KAPPA
INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE BOARD
INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT CONWAY BLANKENSHIP
EXPLANATION OF
INTERNATIONAL LOGO AND THEME
At the 2025 International Convention in Austin Conway referenced the use of circles in our everyday life. Then she said this about her logo and theme: "By now I’m sure you now realize our 2025–2027 international logo must include a circle. You are correct. We begin with a circle consisting of three colors, green, yellow, and purple. Look closely. You will see the circle is not closed. That opening is purposeful. It encourages us to welcome new ideas, as well as new members. It’s open to allow us to continue evolving as an organization to meet the needs of our current members and other educators we want to support. Look closely and you will notice the ends are split into four segments. This is a nod to our beginnings.
The logo has to represent Alpha Delta Kappa as we move forward. We wanted a professional, polished, and fresh look that would be recognized outside of our organization, so our colonized trademark letters are included within our circle.
Our theme asks us to listen and to learn from one another as we remember our history and our purposes. In addition, it asks us to reflect on today’s world and to evolve as we continue to be an organization that makes a difference for years to come. We are Evolving Together."
