We are pleased to support Turtle CYP’s Summer Play Scheme with our annual grant. Their programme provides a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children during the school holidays. A wide range of activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, sports, games, and social opportunities - the scheme encourages creativity, confidence, and friendships.
We awarded grants to support the development of two inclusive wellbeing and learning spaces within local schools. These projects will help ensure that more children can access tailored support, improved wellbeing, and a more inclusive school experience.
One project is creating a specialist enhanced provision within a mainstream setting to support children with significant additional needs, alongside providing a flexible breakout space for pupils with SEND. The other is establishing a dedicated outdoor lodge to provide a calm, nurturing environment where pastoral and emotional support can be delivered.
