2-mile fun run/walk that participants got to enjoy with their dog through the Whitney Park Neighborhood. After the run/walk participants had the opportunity to enjoy pet-friendly activities (smooch booth), visit vendor booths, listen to pet talks, and enjoy an assortment of snacks and refreshments for both owners and dogs.
Enough money was raised through this event for an off-leash dog exercise area to be constructed in Whitney Park. This was a first annual event.
The event came back in 2018 to continue to raise funds to maintain the park and add amenities to it!
This year it was a 1-mile fun run/walk that participants got to enjoy with their dog through the Whitney Park Neighborhood that included Pupaccino and cookie breaks along the way!

The purpose of Green Bay S.O.U.P. is to promote community-based development through crowdfunding, creativity, collaboration, democracy, trust and fun! The program includes short local project presentations with time for questions, soup, networking and a chance for all attendees to vote on the project they think the evening’s proceeds should support.
In an effort to raise the funds needed to construct a dog exercise area, the Bark for the Park project presented and was the local project winner of the evening.
