Allen Talks offered open conversation. Beginning with prompts for panelists, associated with diversity, community, and visibility, the program offered individual experience, where panelists had a wide canvas upon which to paint their responses. Audience members heard honest conversation in an open and affirming environment about LGBTQ+ issues not commonly heard. In fact, the talks have sought to make visible the beautiful tapestry of us as people who are, indeed, valued members of our communities. Q&As followed the panelists' conversation.
The Allen Foundation offers its gratitude for the panelists courage, insight, and humor--as well as for audiences
Donations are welcomed. One may donate at the talks in three ways: cash, personal check, or digitally at allenbookawardscholarship.org
