Create your expression in artistic form for the application.
What are you passionate about when it comes to LGBTQ+ issues? What do your community members need to know about these issues? Your own experiences should inform and compel your work. But, what form will you choose? A short one-act play? A graphic cartoon? An oil painting? Make sure you can submit a photo of the work, the work itself, or even a video (generally not longer than five minutes). File types may vary.

What does your art express about the LGBTQ+ experience? In your statement, point out three specific areas of focus viewers should notice about your submitted art and why people should notice them. Include what your work says about the human experience. What social justice issues have you engaged with this work?
