New Classes Start October 1st!
Dynamic Diversities are weekly adaptive dance classes held at Dynamic Motion Dance Academy in Anthem, AZ. These classes are specifically designed to provide:
a safe, positive and welcoming environment
structure to allow dancers to know what to expect each class
extra time for learning, processing and repetition
exploration of available and new movement patterns
additional support available, including 1:1 if needed when available
modifications and adaptations provided as needed
a fun and challenging atmosphere to pursue the rigor and excitement of dance education
performance alongside peers at the DMDA recital at a local high school auditorium
Please note: classes at DMDA are tuition based. ESA funds accepted.
NEW Dynamic Diversities Jr.
Tuesdays 4:15pm
This class is based in ballet and basic movement patterns. We use props, visual and verbal cues to inspire movement. We focus on following directions, working together and turn taking.
Age range is typically 5 – 10 years old but designed to be flexible based on dancers’ needs.
Registration open now, Class starts October 1st!
NEW Dynamic Diversities Ballet/Lyrical
Mondays 4:15pm
Based in ballet and lyrical movement styles. Dancers work at the barre, across the floor and work on choreography. We focus on self-expression, working with partners and independent learning.
Age range is typically young teens through young adults but is flexible as needed.
Dynamic Diversities Jazz
Mondays 5:15pm CURRENTLY FULL
This class moves at a slightly faster pace and focuses on jazz and hip hop styles.
The class is currently full. Please feel free to request to be placed on the waiting list. If we have enough interest, we may be able to open a new class in the future!

Instruction
Miss Mikayla!
Classes are instructed by Ms. Katie and Miss Mikayla. Together, we work with dancers and their families to:
determine the best fit for each dancer, including which class to take and how much support to provide
establish behavioral strategies if needed to encourage participation and keep everyone safe in the classroom
resolve any difficulties that arise that are getting in the way of enjoying dance class
Ms. Katie trains and guides all Dance Buddies to provide appropriate, respectful and safe support.

Dynamic Diversity dancers are invited to join 2 - 3 community performances throughout the year in addition to performing in the recital.
