We are currently looking for Dance Buddies for:

Anthem Classes

Mondays at 4pm and 5pm

Location: Powerhouse Dance; 4111 W. Innovative Dr; Anthem

Phoenix Classes

Wednesdays at 3:30pm and 4:30pm

What is a Dance Buddy?

Partnering with others to learn is a fun and rewarding role. Our Dance Buddies are friends and gentle guides who:

welcome dancers to the studio
help get everyone ready for class
form friendships
assist with attention
model dance class behaviors
encourage participation

Our dance classes are the most fun when our dance buddies are able to join us. We are always looking for new friends to join our classes in central Phoenix, at Ability360's Telephone Pioneer Park and at Powerhouse Dance in Anthem.

Meet some of our Dance Buddies!

Ms. Kelly

Ms. Kelly has experience as a special ed teacher and is lead Dance Buddy. She has been dancing with us for the past year.

About Ms. Kelly:

Purple is my favorite color.
I have 3 children ages 17 - 25.
I have a small white fluffy dog named Daisy.
I lived in England before moving to Arizona.

Maddie

Maddie is a sophomore in high school here in Anthem. She has been a Dance Buddy this past year.

About Maddie:

My favorite color is red.
I have 3 cats.
I love to sing and perform in musical theate shows.
When I get older, I want to go to New York City.

Emily

Emily is 15 years old and has been dancing for 12 years. She been a Dance Buddy for 2 years.

I love helping with different classes.
I started dancing when I was 3!
My favorite styles are ballet/pointe and jazz.
