Social Media/Facebook Co-Admin

• Our largest audience is on Facebook! Constantly posting and sharing is how a huge portion of our dogs get adopted outside of in-person events. This volunteer will work on creating posts (and schedule recurring ones) to advertise available dogs, look for fosters, announce events, share news. This volunteer ideally knows how to use FB as an admin and has a friendly writing voice that can engage our followers.  We all chime in and answer inquiries on Messenger, so any time this volunteer has for that is much appreciated when they feel like they know the ropes. This volunteer can be based anywhere! 

Grants and Fundraising

• We know there are grants and opportunities out there that can benefit the rescue, and we would love to be able to search and apply for them but with so many moving parts to a foster-based rescue we've come to recognize that this will only happen if someone owns this as their only project -- to find and apply for grants, create engaging fundraisers (think supply drives, Super Bowl squares, partnerships) This volunteer can also work from anywhere, on really any schedule!

Foster Coordinators

• This is the volunteer position for the person who has flexible daytime availability to help be the pointperson for fosters from puppy pickup to adoption. That means relaying any issues, notifying fosters of vetting days and events, and helping the other volunteers complete the adoption process. If this volunteer is tech savvy they can also help review applications and complete adoptions using our adoption platform!
