I am a development economist by training and have been involved in the development sector in various capacities. At present I am the Director for Centre for Field Learning, INDIA pursuing my first passion in life - studying development. I have served before as a Dean in Bennett University and Amity University and have taught to students in DAIICT, TISS and Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy. But I have a heart of a social worker and hence have a strong connect with the field. My main areas of research are agriculture and rural development; food and water security; development strategies and policy analysis; and disaster management.
