Tamara Cox is the Teacher Librarian at Wren High School in Andersen County South Carolina where she has turned the school library into a safe space for students who are might need more than a book to read. Not only does Tamara advocate for her students at her school, she also advocates for them and teacher librarians throughout the state by serving as the South Carolina Association of School Librarians President and meeting with state legislators to ensure they know how valuable Teacher Librarians are to education.
