Hadih, Joseph Jeffery sboozi. Lheidli T’enneh hubeh keyoh whuts’odelhti. Nts’ezla hubeh yun ts’uwhuti, ts’utzen ink’ez ts’unuwhulhyeh. Hello, my name is Joseph Jeffery. I respectfully acknowledge I am coming to you from the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli T’enneh. I am happy to be able to work and play on these lands. Keyoh roughly corresponds to the English word territory or land, but it encompasses a greater idea. That of land stewardship. It could more correctly be said to mean the land that we walk and take responsibility for. So with that in mind I am in Prince George, British Columbia or Lheidli Keyoh. I am the district learning commons teacher-librarian for School District 57 - Prince George. My role is to create resources, provide mentorship and peer leadership within our district learning commons, assisting all staff with e-resources, physical resources, copyright and privacy. Oh and we also run the library information system and deal with centralized cataloging, but that is the smaller part of what we do.
