My goal is to become and aerospace engineer, because I can combine by interest in technology with my creative background. Outside of STEM I love art (specifically drawing, painting and sculpture). I believe being creative is important for engineering because it helps when designing structures and parts. I am also a competitive dancer, which has taught me a lot about teamwork and determination.

Over the last few years, I have built several individual engineering projects. I am experienced with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, hand drafting, and Python coding. To bring things I design to life I have learned how to use CNC machines, 3D printers, and soldering irons. I have also worked with Arduino electronics and built drone systems. I have taken several AP classes including AP Physics 1 and 2, AP Calculus, AP Language and Composition, AP English Literature, AP Government and Politics and AP World History.

After high school, I plan to attend a four-year university to major in Aerospace Engineering. Ultimately, my career goal is to work in the design, prototyping, and testing phases of the aerospace industry, helping build the next generation of aircraft or spacecraft.
