Overview:

Revamping a training webinar requires a strategic approach, and that's exactly what we accomplished with the Onesite Foundations Course. Partnering closely with Performance Training Managers, we reimagined a comprehensive three-hour webinar into two distinct parts: Onesite Foundations and Onesite Leasing. This targeted approach aimed to cater to associates at different familiarity levels with Onesite software, ensuring a more tailored and engaging learning experience.

Process and Collaborative Efforts:

Working alongside Performance Training Managers, we methodically dissected the existing webinar to pinpoint opportunities for improvement. Recognizing the value of separating the foundational elements of Onesite, we developed an independent Onesite Foundations course. This innovation enables associates who are new to Onesite to gain proficiency in a focused setting, without overwhelming those with prior Onesite experience.

Role in Visual Design and Engagement:

My role focused on enhancing the visual design of the webinar slide deck. By utilizing a clean and intuitive design approach, I aimed to facilitate easy comprehension of the content. To augment engagement, I seamlessly integrated Microsoft Polls, creating interactive moments that encouraged participation and active learning. This interactivity not only keeps participants engaged but also promotes a deeper understanding of the material.

Empowering Knowledge Assessment:

A significant advancement in this approach is the incorporation of a knowledge assessment. Associates who are already familiar with Onesite from previous roles can now take the assessment and, if successful, bypass the Onesite Foundations course. This flexibility not only respects their prior experience but also optimizes their training journey by focusing on areas that truly require attention.

Outcomes and Impact:

The Onesite Foundations Course slide deck serves as an exemplar of optimized and engaging training design. The integration of interactive elements fosters active learning, enhancing retention and application of knowledge. The modular structure not only adapts to varying levels of prior experience but also respects associates' time commitments.

Through this initiative, my proficiency in visual design and training enhancement comes to the forefront.
