BALETE sa ALICIA

The Municipality of Alicia has a barangay named Sto. Tomas. The said Barangay had a story about the Balete Tree that hooks peoples mind and lost them in the area. There are people who had experienced getting lost in the area, especially the farmers who walks late at night in the vicinity. These incidents creates fear to the people, especially when one farmer had been lost and never been found saying that he was seen to walk in that area. At that time the Barangay captain of Sto.Tomas develops a plan to cut down the tree because of the peoples request and wavering taughts and feelings of scary things that might happen. 

Now, the Balete had been cut down and never been sprouted again. The worries and uneasy feelings of the people around had became stable.
