Alicia is one of the finest Municipality in the Region II as it displays different varieties of cultural events, traditions and a peaceful landmark that brings the faith of the people as well as the Spaniards religious aspect. The festival and traditional games that it offers as well as its polite and friendly citizens of the Municipality will surely capture your heart. As these times, most of the people, especially the youngsters completely forget the essence of having fun with the traditional game named “Laro ng lahi” wherein the excitement and socialization as well as physical and mental health of the competitors will be tested and developed.
Time passes by, and modernization take over the mindset of the youth, the traditional and cultural identity of a certain community must be preserved and still nurtured within the area so that it will build a good foundation and understanding for the next generation. No matter how modernized our world will be, there is no reason for us to abandon the cultural background of our own community.
As you walk into the path of learning different cultures and traditions, respect should always be carried on. One’s culture and traditions show the ethnicity and behavior of a person but it doesn’t stop there because it is also used as a basis of one’s identity and nature where he/she lives in. In a classroom set-up multiple intelligence can be seen and it will come into diverse learners who has their own culture, tradition and ethnicity that is preserved and nurtured by them and with that being said a good communication, and respect will be enforced to accommodate them and help them understand one another. “Cultural differences should not separate us from each other, but rather cultural diversity brings a collective strength that can benefit all of humanity.” -Robert Alan
