Get to know Banda!

Sunato Banda (バンダスナト, Banda Sunato) is a minor character in Season 2 and a major antagonist in Season 3 of Alice in Borderland. He is portrayed by Hayato Isomura.

Appearance

Banda is a skinny young man of average height. He has short dark hair with long bangs covering his forehead and coming close to his eyes. Despite his backstory, Banda keeps his appearance as ordinary and unnoticeable as possible, so nobody can suspect him to be a serial killer. He is seen wearing a classic light blue shirt with a white T-shirt underneath and beige-gray baggy trousers.

Personality

Banda is a cold and manipulative person who knows how to feign weakness and fear. He usually slouches while walking and prefers to sit in the corner to avoid any interactions with other players, however, when faced with Matsushita and Chishiya, he looks them straight in the eye without a slight hint of discomfort. He is skilled at gaining people's trust and tricking them into believing they are in control of him.

History

Banda's story prior to Jack of Hearts remains mostly unknown, however, Chishiya mentioned that Banda was a convicted murderer with a death sentence for killing four women. After getting transported to the Borderlands, Banda has played enough games during the First Stage to make it to the Second Stage, and survived the King of Spades' onslaught long enough to join the Jack of Hearts game.
