Chair, Research Committee, Ras Al Khaimah Campuses (RAKC), Higher Colleges of Technology

Since October 2026 I have chaired the Research Committee of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) Ras Al Khaimah Campuses (RAKC). The committee's purpose is to facilitate and enable faculty research, and its stated aims cover three areas:

• research culture and events;

• training and resources for faculty researchers;

• support for grant applications and research collaboration.

Before joining HCT, I directed the Norwich University Artificial Intelligence (AI) Center (2022 to July 2026), where I ran an annual faculty AI research funding program with the project director of the Center's U.S. Department of Education grant, and I co-chaired Norwich University's Generative AI Advisory Committee (2024 to 2025).

Faculty at the Ras Al Khaimah Campuses who would like to discuss a research idea, a grant application or a collaboration are welcome to contact me.
