Talking about hobbies is always pleasant and inspiring. It helps others to get to know me better and possibly find a bridge to start communication or build up friendships. I can list my hobbies in the following list:
Sport:
TaiChi:
I started learning Taichi at NewAgeTaichi institute in 2015. I am really thankful to master Diana and Yip who taught in a professional, patient, and clear way. I should admit that it was one of my best life experiences to become acquainted with nice TaiChi masters and friends in Singapore. To me, TaiChi is more than sport and is rooted in Chinese ancient philosophies of life that are manifested in the form of physical activities. Taichi was my first encounter with east-Asian philosophy and spirituality and acted as a bridge to take more steps towards this way of looking to life and being. I never expected to gain such valuable by-product experiences by doing a Ph.D. in Singapore. However, life is sometimes so complex and generous that is not visible until further years when we are able to look back by enough distance.
