As part of the end-of-year celebrations, the Senior Class will enjoy a BBQ sponsored by the APTO. Students will gather outside for food, games, music, and time together before heading into graduation festivities. The BBQ is a relaxed and fun way to celebrate as a class, honor their journey, and make a few last memories before moving on to the next chapter.
Senior Week is a beloved tradition at Algonquin that takes place just before graduation. Activities typically include a senior banquet, senior breakfast, class trip, yearbook signing, and time for seniors to celebrate their accomplishments as a class. It’s a week filled with memories and school spirit that helps close out their time at ARHS in a meaningful way.
The APTO is excited to sponsor a full week of senior celebrations leading up to graduation.
On Monday, we’ll kick off with a car decorating contest in the lot after school, complete with a quick photo spot for seniors. Tuesday will feature senior gift bag pickups during lunch blocks. On Wednesday, seniors can enjoy a “Sip & Sign” in the cafeteria before school and during lunch, along with a coffee café. Thursday brings food trucks on campus after school with music and a spirit table. We’ll wrap up on Friday with a senior cookie and recipe handout.
The 100 Days Until Graduation Celebration is a special milestone honoring our Seniors as they enter the final stretch of their high school journey. Hosted by the APTO in partnership with Senior families and school leadership, the event recognizes the hard work, dedication, and growth of the Class of 2026. With festive decorations, thoughtful giveaways, and plenty of excitement, the celebration marks the countdown to graduation and the beginning of their next chapter.
