Get ready for some spooky fun at Algonquin! This October, the APTO is sponsoring a school-wide Halloween Contest. Each grade will have a chance to show their spirit and creativity by taking part in the festivities.
Prizes will be awarded to winners in each grade, including fun treats and gift cards. This is a great way for students to celebrate together, show off their school pride, and support their class.
In late February, the Senior Class kicks off the countdown to graduation with a celebration marking 100 days to go!
We will celebrate this exciting milestone with small gifts and fun senior spirit activities. It’s a tradition that marks the official countdown to graduation and brings the class together as they head into their final 100 days at Algonquin.
As part of the end-of-year celebrations, the Senior Class will enjoy a BBQ sponsored by the APTO. Students will gather outside for food, games, music, and time together before heading into graduation festivities. The BBQ is a relaxed and fun way to celebrate as a class, honor their journey, and make a few last memories before moving on to the next chapter.
Senior Week is a beloved tradition at Algonquin that takes place just before graduation. Activities typically include a senior banquet, senior breakfast, class trip, yearbook signing, and time for seniors to celebrate their accomplishments as a class. It’s a week filled with memories and school spirit that helps close out their time at ARHS in a meaningful way.
The APTO is excited to sponsor a full week of senior celebrations leading up to graduation.
On Monday, we’ll kick off with a car decorating contest in the lot after school, complete with a quick photo spot for seniors. Tuesday will feature senior gift bag pickups during lunch blocks. On Wednesday, seniors can enjoy a “Sip & Sign” in the cafeteria before school and during lunch, along with a coffee café. Thursday brings food trucks on campus after school with music and a spirit table. We’ll wrap up on Friday with a senior cookie and recipe handout.
