A 2-D version of the Popular game Portal, now for the TI-84 Plus C SE (C Silver Edition) and CE. Enjoy blasting through space at breakneck speeds and almost being fried, crushed, and insulted all for the hope of cake at the end. With 78 total levels, the fun will probably end at some point. But that is why there is a level editor to make even more mind boggling puzzles. So, good luck, and remember that GLaDOS is always watching...

This program was made in Z80 (CSE)/eZ80 (CE) Assembly, meaning that it needs to be run the Asm(
token. To run the program, select the Asm(
token from the catalog ([2nd] [0]
) and then select PORTAL from the [prgm]
menu. You should see Asm(prgmPORTAL
(the closing parenthesis is optional). Then, press [enter]
to run it.
To use the level editor, everything above applies, just use PORTALED instead of PORTAL.
Simply press the [apps]
button and select Portal from the list. Same goes for the editor.
Buttons open doors, not the other way around. Use them by standing on them or by placing a cube on them.
Cubes can be picked up by the player by pressing [2nd]
. They are also dropped by pressing [2nd]
].
A fizzler is a field through which you cannot shoot Portals. They are blue.
Let's just say you don't want to run into one.
Spikes are much like electric fields, they can lead to injury. But most likely instant death.
Weird substance that you can shoot beams through.
These things you don't want to touch. You can open doors with them though, so they are kind of useful. Just guide them with portals into the square block buttons.

For providing ideas and input, along with testing in order to find the things that shouldn't happen but did.
For finding that elusive bug that just wouldn't die, and testing to find where I messed up.
For the original amazing monochrome version, which inspired this creation.
