Just when things finally start turning around, things turn again. I don't think I need to explain why. I've been rather busy lately, but June will see things slow to a stop and "hobby work" can resume. I don't have much else to say right now; I'll say more when I have more to say.
After disappearing for almost half a year and two clock changes (for the US, anyway), I am back and I have news to share. Let's jump into it:
I'll get back to work on finishing and updating the work for the website and other existing programs as outlined in the post below. Most of the stuff still stands and even though it's now late, I'll still make Valentine the top priority.
I've gotten the notifications of people filling out the form asking for work to resume to resume on ASCII Clicker. Unfortunately, I'm personally done with it and with the new projects below, I'm not dedicating a lot to a dead pressing enter simulator. With that being said, I will release one final update to give the game a proper goodbye at some time in the indefinite future. The 3 remaining clicker fans can rejoice!
I haven't done much on it but as I'm dusting stuff off everything else, I'm going to start spending some free time at school on AlbuCE. For those of you who don't know what it is, AlbuquerqueCE is a port of Albuquerque: The Game to the TI-84 Plus CE and CSE. I'll also be updating the original game to patch bugs I find in the process.
This is the big story. As part of my English class, I need to do an Inquiry Project on a topic of my choosing. I (obviously) chose to remake the card game Cards Against Humanity as a calculator game with the working title of Calculators Against Humanity. This is especially big because I'm making it in C, not BASIC. More info will be made available as soon as it can be.
Having a single unified contact Form is really nice on the user end, but it is so annoying to scroll through to find a response to a later section; Google Forms just isn't meant to be used like that. This has been on my mind for a little while now (read: everytime I look at a response I got)
I'm not completely in on this yet, but I've been considering publishing the source code of my projects to GitHub where possible. I'm not worried about the code being out there because anyone can already see the source of TI-BASIC projects in TI-Connect. It'll also be useful for tracking my progress on CAH.
After a brief hiatus to work on a few other important personal projects and a good amount of review and reworking, I am proud to officially launch Alex's Program Emporium. Updates will now also be posted to Reddit and the Google listing, and this is the first one. This site is far from done, but it's done enough that I'm ready to launch it. With that being said, here's what's still on the list and what I'm doing about it:
Constantly updated to remove completed tasks
