What Individual Counseling Looks Like
Individual counseling with me is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you as a whole person. I take an integrative approach, meaning I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. Each session is thoughtfully adapted to meet your unique needs, goals, personality, and life circumstances.
Our work together may include elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, psychoeducation, strengths-based interventions, and attachment-informed approaches. For some clients, sessions may focus on building concrete coping skills and reframing unhelpful thought patterns. For others, we may explore relational dynamics, life transitions, identity development, or deeper emotional processing.
I believe therapy should feel both structured and flexible. Some sessions may involve skill-building and practical tools you can apply immediately. Others may create space for reflection, processing, and meaningful insight. I continuously assess what is most helpful for you and adjust our approach on a case-by-case basis.
Above all, my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered. Therapy with me is not about fitting you into a model — it’s about tailoring the experience to support your growth in a way that aligns with who you are.
