Biography
I obtained my BSc degree in Physics in 2009 from the Gleb Wataghin Physics Institute - IFGW of the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP, Brazil, where I later obtained my MSc and DSc degrees in Electrical Engineering both at the Department of Semiconductors, Instruments and Photonics - DSIF of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering - FEEC in 2012 and 2016, respectively. From 2016 to 2021, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Photonics and Instrumentation Laboratory - LIF of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ, Brazil. From 2021 to 2023, I worked as a Research Fellow at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory - INL, Braga, Portugal. For a short period in 2023 (June - October), I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies - IEAv working in optical fiber sensors for aerospace applications. Currently, I am a Researcher at the Photonics Innovation Institute (iTech) located in the city of Campinas-SP, Brazil, working in distributed optical fiber-based sensing solutins and systems. My research interests include optical fiber sensors and electronic instrumentation.
