Designing an Advertisement LayoutÂ
This assignment served as my introduction to Adobe InDesign. Using the provided content, imagery, and branding assets, I created a clean and professional advertisement layout. Throughout the process, I developed foundational design skills, including proportional image resizing (Shift + Command), establishing a clear visual hierarchy, and selecting complementary fonts and colors to support readability and brand consistency. This project strengthened my confidence in structuring effective layouts and demonstrated my ability to create a realistic, print-ready advertisement in InDesign.
Designing a Multi-Column Magazine Layout
For this project, I created a three-column magazine article featuring embedded images, styled typography, and intentional layout design. I applied text wrapping to integrate visuals smoothly within the columns, used transparency and feathering effects to blend imagery into the background, and selected complementary fonts for the heading and subheading to establish hierarchy. This assignment strengthened my understanding of publication structure, visual organization, and professional magazine layout techniques.
TRI-FOLD BROCHURE
Designing a Marketing Brochure
For my final InDesign project, I designed a tri-fold brochure inspired by the elegance and modern style of Paris. I used a clean layout, a contemporary color palette, and simple typography to create a cohesive and visually appealing design. Using master pages, paragraph styles, and grid systems helped maintain consistency across all six panels. I incorporated iconic imagery and key highlights of the city while resizing visuals proportionally to preserve quality. The final brochure showcases both strong technical skills and thoughtful, design-focused execution.
