A: This is not a drop off club. This is a co-op. All parents are expected to remain on the field to help in one way or another during every practice and game. Please read the definitions and expectations for volunteers on the Parent Volunteers page.
A: Each team has two coaches and one or two team parents. These three or four people are the team leadership and should support each other. If you are a coach, ask your assistant coach to sub for you. If you are an assistant coach, ask your team parent to sub for you. If you are a team parent, let the team parent coordinator and your team coaches know you will not be there. If you are a babysitter, let the babysitters coordinator know you will be absent.
A: Players will be placed on teams in divisions depending on how many players are registered. In the past the divisions have been U7 (5-6 years old), U9 (7-8 years old), U13 (9-12 years old) and U18 (13-17 years old). All teams are co-ed.
A: The majority of our players have never played or have only played a little. The level of competition is light.
A: We have never had a problem with having an age range of several years because the level of play is low. If your child is small and you would prefer to have them play with the younger division, please specify in the registration form.
A: Every player needs a ball, cleats, shinguards and a full water bottle. See the player gear page. There is a gear swap on the first day of the season for trading used equipment.
A: There is a snack sign up for all of the teams and for the babysitters on the Snack Sign Up page.
A: We play every Wednesday from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. The Fall 2025 season will run for 10 weeks, beginning with a mandatory virtual parent orientation meeting on August 27, 2:00pm. There will also be an in-person coaches and assistant coaches training August 27, 7:00pm. From September 3 to October 29 we will have five practices and four games. See the Schedule page.
A. We will still play with light rain, but will cancel if there is thunder and lightning. If the weather is fine on Wednesday but the grass field is closed because of previous rain, we will cancel, but will hold optional, mixed age scrimmages on the turf field. We will update the status here by noon Wednesdays.
A. If any day gets rained out we will cancel and will not add a rain day at the end of the season.
The only exception is if the first game gets rained out we will play that game the next week instead of a practice. See the schedule page.
