Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 - This Act determines the framework for all regulated health professions in Ontario, and establishes health regulatory colleges. These colleges regulate the various professions in the public interest to ensure that all care is provided in a safe and ethical manner.
College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) - This college ensures the public is protected by regulating the professional standards of psychotherapy, and its members. The CRPO's authority is legislated provincially by the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991, and the Psychotherapy Act, 2007.
Psychotherapy Act, 2007 - this Act proclaims the role of the CRPO, and the controlled act of psychotherapy.

Measuring Positive Mental Health in Canada - The Public Health Agency of Canada defines positive mental health as "the capacity of each and all of us to feel, think, act in ways that enhance our ability to enjoy life and deal with the challenges we face. It is a positive sense of emotional and spiritual well-being that respects the importance of culture, equity, social justice, interconnections and personal dignity."
Positive Mental Health Surveillance Indicator Framework (PMHSIF)- these statistics of positive mental health measure "a core set of indicators grouped by positive mental health outcomes, and four key domains" which include individual, family, community, and society determinants.
