From my experiences in IDET 4300 (STEM Technology) in the Fall 2023 semester, I have learned how to engage, excite, and educate students of different backgrounds and levels. I have become more knowledgeable and creative in my teaching, and am now better able to more confidently work with both my peers and students. I thoroughly enjoyed our activities, and am excited to hopefully incorporate these into my future classroom. Despite any obstacles experienced along the way, I continued through the semester with guidance and patience. I have learned how to better use computational thinking, and anticipate using ISTE CT Standards in any future STEM adventures. This course and the opportunities with it have opened new doors and possibilities that did not exist before, and I am incredibly grateful for the time that I have had with everyone. I hope to work more on my collaboration and facilitation components, which I should expect with more field experience. Nonetheless, I believe I have become a better learner, leader, collaborator, designer, and facilitator through my work over the semester.
