MY PORTFOLIO

Welcome!  I'm Alex Esten...an actor, writer, game designer, producer, etc., working my way into the entertainment industry.

Comedic influences include Marty Feldman, Rob Paulsen, Marx Bros, Adam Scott, and Jim Carrey: real life cartoon characters, deadpan snarkers, and vaudevillian maniacs.

In science fiction, I've always appreciated the layered villainy of synthetic life gone evil; Ian Holm, Robert Patrick, Rutger Hauer, HK-47, and 4-LOM.

My approach to horror/suspense draws from Hitchcock, Robert DeNiro as Max Cady in Cape Fear, and Heath Ledger's Joker.

The creature feature storyteller in me owes everything to the original King Kong, Willis H. O'Brien, Ray Harryhausen, and the Universal movie monsters.

I'll be continuing to use this site to showcase my work.  If you'd like to message me, I'm available on Instagram!  Thank you for visiting!
