A game jam submitted for the Spooktober 2024 visual novel jam. I designed the GUI for the game, and dealt with script, art and mechanic implementation.
At the start of the competition, I revised the Director's game documents, assessed the planned mechanics and functionality, and sketched the first concept art trials.
The game is divided in two halves. The first one has a more cartoony, colorful style, while the second part is more serious and where a big part of the scares happen.
Above are the two finalized GUI concepts that were green lit - to the left are a potential design for the first half where a character portrait could have been shown to the left of the text box, and a fun design for the choice screen which was cut because of time constraints.
I also worked on and designed a custom achievement screen.
I created the game's logo and vectorized it so that it could be used to different purposes.
