About me!
I am currently enrolled as a PhD Scholar and a Prime Minister's Research Fellow under the mentorship of esteemed Professor Mohammad Mahfuzul Haque in the Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. I had an opportunity to pursue my Master of Science in Biotechnology (2019-21) at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. My educational background in Biotechnology from AIIMS, New Delhi, has equipped me with a solid foundation in medical knowledge and critical thinking skills. My journey began with a B.Sc. in Biotechnology at Jamia Millia Islamia University, where I graduated and earned the distinction of Gold Medallist. As a researcher deeply committed to advancing our understanding of complex biological phenomena, I am driven by a passion for exploring the intersections of biotechnology, molecular enzymology, and stroke biology. My research interest lies at the nexus of these disciplines, with the overarching goal of unraveling the intricate molecular mechanisms underlying stroke pathology and devising innovative therapeutic strategies harnessing the power of biotechnological tools and molecular enzymology.

He is also the former Head of the Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Millia Islamia. His illustrious career is marked by a prolific contribution to the scientific community, reflected through the publication of over 100 research papers in esteemed journals and conferences. Renowned as a preeminent Biophysicist and Biotechnologist, Prof. Haque possesses an unparalleled proficiency in the intricate domain of molecular enzymology. Having earned his doctorate from the prestigious Department of Biosciences, Jamia Millia Islamia, he further honed his expertise during his tenure as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Immunology, Lerner Research Institute, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, USA, and as a Staff Project Scientist at the Department of Pathobiology, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, USA.
