In acres of suburban lawn, quality habitat is hard to come by, but the solution is right in front of us - the choices we make in our yards and our parks could make a huge impact!
These native plants will provide food, nectar, pollen & shelter for native bees, butterflies, moths, birds, and other wildlife - all of which are experiencing steep population declines due to habitat loss, pesticides, climate change, parasites & diseases.
Planting is an exercise in hope and patience. Critical pollinator habitat can take several years to establish, but it will be worth the wait!Β
