Echomax Active XS Radar Reflector (New 2022). This sounds an alarm when your vessel is “painted” by a ship’s radar. It then sends a signal back to the other ship with your image “enhanced” on their radar screen. This is standard equipment on Mini Transit racers. This along with the Echomax Passive radar reflector on the mast is the next best thing to actually having continuous running radar as far as collision avoidance is concerned (of course, in conjunction with the AIS!)

Each solar panel is connected to its own independent Victron MPPT Smart controller.

Electrical

All original wiring was removed from the boat and a total rewire was carried out with assistance from qualified, fastidious marine electrician to very high standards.

All electrical components are new in 2022. DC panels (4) are Blueseas waterproof. Main DC control panel display is also covered with removable canvas for additional splash protection.

House Batteries - 2 x 6 V DEEP CYCLE Golf Cart AGM batteries 220 AH - (New 2022)

Start battery - 1 X12 V Group 27 DEEP CYCLE AGM battery (New 2022)

Batteries are linked together with an ACR and main DC switch is ON /OFF /Combined
