I will presenting a poster and a talk at virtual Evolution meeting this year. For this occasion, I will precent our recent development on a phylogeography model for modeling infectious disease transmission with host movement dynamics in spatially structured populations!
April 2025
Great news - I have been invited to present a talk at a machine learning symposium, as part of this year's Evolution meeting in Athens, Georgia. I am planning to talk about the application of supervised learning for evolutionary biology and phylogenetic analyses. I will also introduce our novel diversification model with historical biogeography and species density.

For Indonesian visitors, Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia will be hosting a series of online sharing sessions with their alumni in various topics. I am pleased to announce that I will be taking part in one of those sessions with two other people on our experience working abroad. Please make sure to follow the news on their social media here, if you are interested :)

For Indonesian visitors, I was recently invited to share my stories as a Math PhD student in Australia and as a postdoc in the United States. This was made possible thanks to the efforts by brilliant people behind "Bebas Linear" podcast. Make sure to check out their other episodes too! Dari Nusa Tenggara ke Tenggara Australia

Our work under Landis Lab at Washington University has been published in the Bulletin of Mathematical Biology (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11538-024-01337-6). In this work, we established a general diffusion-based framework to study a wide and highly influential class of phylogenetics birth-death models, the cladogenetic state-dependent-speciation-extinction (ClaSSE) models.
