Alan offers online piano lessons via Zoom, FaceTime and Skype. (Current online students are in Oregon, California, Arizona, New York, Florida, and New Jersey as well as Mexico).
Online lessons are an ideal solution for students in different geographical areas or those with challenging personal schedules. The online lesson can be in the comfort of your own home or anywhere you have access to a piano and an internet connection. The device you use (whether a phone, tablet or laptop) must have a built-in or connected camera.
Alan provides continuing guidance on using Zoom and setting up. (See my YouTube page for examples on using Zoom, and on extra equipment that can be added to enhance online lessons).
Having online piano lessons via Zoom, FaceTime or Skype is not much different from having piano lessons in-person. Alan will be able to see and hear you play, just as he would in person. He will also demonstrate on the piano for you. You get the same solid advice, explanations, and instruction whether online or in-person.
