MEXT  Scholarship (FAQ):


- There is two sessions for MEXT Scholarship One is for April session and another for October session. So you can contact with professor any times. But, Most of the students are applying for the October session.


- Two way to apply. One is through the embassy another way is University recommendation (Easier than embassy). In University recommendation MEXT scholarship, you need to find out your supervisor in your research field in case of PhD degree. For Master’s you can contact with University and also can email to professor's.


- After finding appropriate Professor need to send him your research proposal (Prof. Will help you)

- Need to attend entrance exam(Interview). Along with your Professor there will be many other Professor who will also take the interview. (Prof guide you all the way, so don't worry)

- If your research proposal and interview is well enough then University will recommend you for the MEXT Scholarship to the Japanese Government.

-And finally, the Japanese Government will confirm your scholarship through University again.


- If you have some publications then sometimes it's not required. If you apply for the MS its better to have IELTS but If you apply for PhD it's better to have publications. No need Japanese language test for the PhD/MSc Degree. But, for your daily life sometimes it's needed.
