akrspace: Branding System
This project is a development of my own personal brand using my initials, to represent myself and my values as a designer.
While developing the logo my goals were to represent my branding strategy through elements such as a style and color. Through akrspace, I wanted to create a brand that highlights multicultural understanding and includes progressive perspectives and world views. I represented the brand's message through stylistic choices such as the puzzle piece, connecting different letters together, and through the varying color palette.
When developing the business card, I wanted to create a theme that could remain consistent among the other elements of the branding system. I chose to have a simple design, using the logo as the main stylistic element. I also chose to have the logo spill across the border of the card to create a contemporary look and feel to the brand.
akrletterhead.pdfI kept the stylistic choices seen in the business card consistent among other parts of the branding system, such as the letterhead. As an example of the stylistic possibilites of this brand and how it could represent me, I designed a resume using the color palette of the logo and remaining consistent with the style elements such as the type face and the logo exceeding beyond the borders of the page.
akrresumefinal.pdfAs a fun and memorable take-away item, I created hand sanitizers with a sticker version of the logo and the website. I chose hand sanitizers because they are small and people usually keep a travel size bottle with them at all times and use it constantly throughout the day. By adding a sticker of my logo onto this, it is a constant reminder of the brand, thus making it memorable and useful.
