Our  group mean to conducts research in many areas of artificial intelligence.  The current group interests include:

• Artificial intelligence Problem solving with meta-heuristics

Meta-heuristics include Local Search, Evolutionary Approaches such as Genetic Algorithms, Genetic Programming, Artificial immune system and Particle Swarm Optimization ..etc . Research on meta-heuristics includes problem modeling, adaptation of the chosen meta-heuristic to the problem, and design of new methods. Techniques from different areas can be integrated to design, analyze and implement new optimization algorithms, such as soft computing approaches (fuzzy theory, probability theory …), parallel and distributed computing and machine learning.

          Medical image processing,  text categorization, and Handwriting recognition .
