Short Biography 

Akram Bennour is a Professor of Computer Science at Larbi tebessi University ( algeria) since 2009 . He is also  a Research Scientist at LAMIS Laboratory (Laboratoire de Mathématique, Informatique et Systèmes ) at the same University . As other University services, he was the university vice rector of relex, scientific manifestation, bourses, and scientific research from 02/2012 to 02/2014 .

He received:

·       The Habilitation for research direction  . in Computer Science - Artificial intelligence at (oum-el bouaghi university, Algeria ), in 2019.   

·       The Ph.D. in Computer Science - Artificial intelligence at (Badji Mokhtar university of annaba, Algeria ), in 2015.   

·       The "Magister" in Computer Science - Artificial intelligence ( a joint degree of the University of Annaba (Algeria) and the University of Tebessa in2009.

·       The Engineer Degree in Computer Science (Mentouri university of constantine , Algeria), a five-year degree courses, in 2004.

He taught several courses during over 8 years: Artificial Intelligence, Evolutionary Computation, Machine Learning, Designing , Software Engineering, Databases, Operating Systems, Abstract Data Types, Data Structures and Algorithms, network security and administration, cryptography, images processing , pattern recognition , Machine vision.

His research interests include efficient solving procedures to satisfiability problems nature-inspired metaheuristics and evolutionary computation, machine learning, artificial intelligence and pattern recognition, image processing including satellite and medical images,  natural language processing.
