Research areas of interest

My current research mostly focuses on Image processing and pattern recognition problems in Artificial Intelligence. These problems arise in many areas of computing science and its applications. I am interested in developing algorithms for these problems that can achieve better performance by taking advantage of natural inspired algorithms like artificial immune systems, genetics algorithms, artificial neural networks..etc  . 

I am interested in many other areas, including:
