· Assisted in Teaching of 65-70 senior/graduate students for the following courses:
Thermodynamics Lab
Energy Lab
Fluid Mechanics Lab
Internal Combustion Engine
· I helped the course instructor to design experiments for the labs. Experiments included thermodynamic processes and cycles, refrigeration and air conditioning cycles, heat transfer and combustion process in IC engine.
· Special efforts were taken to help underrepresented groups while teaching engineering topics by allocating extra office hours and extra help ahead of the exams. This effort generated enthusiasm amongst the students about the complex engineering topics I was teaching.
· For the lab demonstration, I used LabVIEW software too.
· Served as a “Tutor” for the “Honors Academic Village” dorm. Responsibility included close monitoring and guiding of students in engineering subjects.
Teaching Assistant – University of Massachusetts, Amherst Fall 2019
· Assisted in Teaching 160 sophomore students for the “Thermodynamics-230” course. The responsibilities included-
Ø Assisting the course teacher by managing and mentoring a team of 4 undergrad teaching assistants.
Ø Finding solution for the assigned homework problems and helping the Professor to set up questions for mid-term and finals.
Ø Holding office hours to help the students in understanding the course material.
Ø Managing the online platform “Moodle (Similar to Blackboard).”
· Assisted in Teaching 198 junior students for the “Fluid Mechanics-340” course. The responsibilities included-
Ø Grading 120 papers every week.
