Partial Commit Suites - No minimum commitment (with some exceptions for the Security portfolio) or enterprise-wide coverage requirement.
NTE (Not-To-Exceed) - Pricing protection i.e price for same product will not increase for the remainder of Suite Term despite any future growth
Growth Allowance - Certain portfolios offer a one-time 15% growth allowance on top of your entitlement
for the term of your agreement. (Only available with Collaboration and Security Portfolio)
True Forward - Is Cisco’s periodic billing process during a Cisco Enterprise Agreement term. Your growth (after an allowance, if applicable) is reviewed quarterly and included in the next “True Forward” Invoice, and you only pay on a going-forward basis as part of your predictable billing period.
Example
You purchased 1000 Licenses
You are entitled to Use 1150 (with 15% Growth Allowance)
Your actual usage is 1350
i.e Additional usage of 250
Next EA renewal you will be asked to renew for 1350 and you will be entitled to use 1550 (Including 15% Growth Allowance)
True Forward schedule is established at the time of the initial EA order.
Value Shift - EA also offers flexibility to transfer unused license values (and their associated service values) to other licenses within the same Suite, or between Suites if eligible.
EA Workspace - Is a simple, enterprise-wide license management and provisioning tool. To Access EA Workspace go to the “License” quadrant on software.cisco.com and select Enterprise Agreements. Log in using your Cisco credentials and select the Smart Account associated with your Enterprise Agreement.
Once we purchase at least one 1 Full Commit Suite in a portfolio and met the minimum requirements for a Full Commit Suite within a portfolio, all other Suites and Add-ons in that portfolio are available to purchase with no minimum requirements. If we choose to purchase another Suite in that portfolio without meeting the minimum requirement, those Suites will be considered ‘Partial Commit’ Suites.
If the Full Commit Suite is within Provider Connectivity, Collaboration, Networking Infrastructure or Applications Infrastructure Portfolios, we will be able to purchase Partial Commit Suites within Security Portfolio with no minimum requirements.
TF invoice is scheduled annually (Annual TF) for Full Commit Suites or quarterly (Quarterly TF) for Partial Commit Suites and Add-on Suites. Additionaly for certain Suites a 15% growth allowance applies. This means that after the first six months of your Suite term, you can use up to 15% over your initial entitlement without additional charge. If growth expands beyond the permitted the 15%, Cisco reserves the right to issue an off-cycle True Forward invoice for growth beyond the 15% allowance.
