Technical Skills Learned

Overall throughout my time in this course I learned a lot about Microsoft Office and technology in general compared to what I previously knew. While I had always known the basics of Word and PowerPoint, I only knew a tiny bit of Excel and I didn't even know what Access was before this course. This course taught me so much I never would have learned on my own, for example in Word learning how to take better notes with knowledge of how to organize text boxes, bullets, and other forms of organization was actually a tool I found myself using in other classes throughout the semester. Utilizing spreadsheets in Excel was something I could never really do with any purpose before this class, and now I know how to apply formulas and charts to organize my data. In terms of regular technology I learned a great deal about computer parts and online safety that I previously took for granted/didn't care about. After this course I am much more appreciative of my technology because of how much work it takes to create, as well I am much safer on the internet and how improved much of my online habits because of the dangers I learned of in this class.
