The Midnight Parade (2025)

Directed by Blake Hobson-Dimas

“Do you believe in the truth?

Do you believe in things that are wild and peaceful?

Do you believe in the midnight parade?

Do you believe me?”

Since its debut in 2024, The Midnight Parade has sparked an ongoing collaboration between HeadFullOfRocks and Foolish Productions—an emerging force in the Vancouver arts scene. In this remount, HFoR and Foolish brought the work back with a fresh cast, featuring creative heavy-hitters Aisha Wewala (Crochet Lad) and Zoë Braithwaite (Brain). With original music by Ally Dean, this new iteration was completely unpredictable. We removed virtually all choreography, grounding the entire performance in improvisational movement. The result was a version of The Midnight Parade that was more vulnerable, more responsive, and more alive than ever before.
