Nonlinear superposition principles, linearization maps, and a case study of Burgers equation

Lie point symmetry is used to find a non-linear superposition principle for the integrated Burgers equation, in which a family of symmetry invariant solutions are superpositioned to arrive at the general solution. The relationship between superposition principles and linearization maps will also be discussed.
